My Father had informed one of our plumber to repair the water pump at home. He brought a senior plumber who was wellversed in repairing domestic water pumps.
They were impatient and wanted a quick go ahead to remove the motorpump and take it to service in their location.
I called my Father and he said he is driving and will reach in 5 mins. I know he had spoken to few people and wasnt sure to give go ahead to them to remove the pump. I asked them to wait.
I had planned to go to office and it was getting delayed for me , hence I was getting impatient.
Meanwhile these two gentlemen started to talk about online stores and brick and mortar store business model.
One person was saying online ecommerce shops are good as they entice customers with frequent offers and get traffic through advertisements. The other gentlemen was in favour of physical stores and arguing they provide a good opportunity to customers as they end up buying more as they see multiple products , touch and feel despite what they originally planned to buy before leaving home.
I thought I was listening to a mini master class on business model who are active in their respective fields despite not having a great formal education.
